Velocity

An objects velocity is considered to be the rate of change of its position with respect to a Frame of Reference, and is a function of Time.

Velocity is a concept in Kinematics, which concerns motion without regard to the cause or source of that motion.

Velocity is a vector quantity, consisting of the magnitude and direction of some object in Motion.

The scalar absolute value of velocity is Speed.

If there is a change in speed, or direction, then the object has a changing velocity, and can be said to be experiencing Acceleration.
